Happy Friday!!!
Another day, another project!!! (Or three...)
For those of you who may be wondering why I have not increased my inventory in my Etsy store, the answer is simple: I have been kept so busy with offline custom orders that it's taking me a bit longer to finish my projects that I intend to post online.
I have received several new orders in the past few days, including hats, cell phone holders, and dishcloths. And I'm very excited to celebrate my first online sale, which happened yesterday!
Today this blog will be short and sweet. I'm eager to get to my crafting today and just wanted to stop by and give a little update. Have a happy Friday, everyone!

To Knit or Not to Knit....
This weekend I have taken a break from the crafting community to work on a short film project. We've been working since Friday, and today is our final shoot day. I LOVE filming!
I signed on to this project as the 1st Assistant Director, but I seem to have become, through the course of the project, a quasi-Line Producer. Neither of these jobs are anything I've done before, so it's been challenging. But I have to say that I am so very proud of the crew! They've been working really hard and we have finished every single one of our days early so far!!! (That's an absolutely increadible feat, to let those outside of the film community know.)
One of those early wrap days, I came home and I thought to myself, "This is fantastic! I have time to relax! I think I'll knit." So I sat down with my knitting in front of me, channel surfed until I found something decent on tv, and settled back into my chair. And that's when I realized that I had absolutely no energy to knit. My brain wanted to knit so bad, and my arms (well, my body in general) just kinda went, "um....no." So, I sat. And watched tv. Just sitting. So not like me...
So tomorrow the filming will be over, and I'll be back to knitting and crafting. I bought some new storage boxes for tools and current projects. I look forward to starting the task of rearranging my current configuration to the more organized set-up that I have planned.
Until I get get to that, though, I think it's time for one more cup of coffee before I leave for the set this morning. Have a fantastic day!!! :)

It's A Lovely Day For A Blog!
Good Morning!
This is my first serious foray into blogging, so I am not really sure how to begin. I suppose an introduction is in order.
I own a business called Juliet Crafts, and I most often go by Juliet or Jules here on the interwebs. When I am not crafting, I'm filming. I am a freelance filmmaker in and around the general Texas area. These are the two loves of my life: filmmaking and crafting!
I am owned by a wonderful cat named Constance. She's white with black spots and slightly resembles a very small cow. She helps me with my knitting and my typing as often as possible!
And I, under careful guidance from the cat, own a Toy St. Bernard named Snickers. Ok, in all seriousness, there's no such thing as a Toy St. Bernard. He's part Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and part Corgi, and he really does look like a tiny version of a St. Bernard. All the pictures I have of him right now are puppy pictures from when I first got him. I'll post a current pic as soon as I have one!
So, I guess that's me in a nutshell. I'll be blogging about all of the above, and whatever else comes up. Enjoy!
